Sharing is caring” is an amazing quote. But remember, it can hit you hard in a different way if you do it without understanding the exact meaning. It was the time of my class 12 results and I was overconfident that I will get A1 in all the subjects. But never thought that sharing, caring and overconfidence could change the entire plans of my life. When the results came, I was shocked to see A1 for all the subjects expect for the one which I thought I would score full marks. I began to cry for no reason and called my dad. He began to console me and asked that if I were so confident then why the results came the reverse. I had no answer.

He asked me many questions and finally asked whether I cheated in the exams. Suddenly I remembered the flashback story where I helped one of my dear friend and classmate who was sitting next to me during exams. Since I was overconfident that whatever I have written is correct and “sharing is caring” ,I shared my answer paper with my friend. The teacher who was monitoring was busy with some other works ,thus all the students had an amazing time in the exam hall.

After relishing these memories and sharing it with my dad he just replied, “You were overconfident and you just took the quote sharing is caring into another level. My child, since you have shared your answer sheet and done a good thing that you think is good, God has rewarded you by sharing your marks with your friend just like you shared your answer sheet.”

I was dumbstruck hearing this and in these years of life I never had the guts to share my answers or help my friends during the exams.
